Many people think it's normal to have a headache every week or even every day. Pop some medication, feel better for a few hours, but we shouldn't have to do that. A common misconception about headaches, is that they originate from the head; but that's not always the case. Now, sometimes your headache can come from your head, specifically the TMJ. But most of the time, it's stemming from these structures lower down: upper cervical misalignment's can create pressure on these nerves, here. It can put tension on the vertebral artery, it stresses all the structures, the muscles that attach here. This tension can pull back up into the head to create a really horrible headache.
If it's not structural, chances are something chemical or emotional: sleep, dehydration, hormones, high blood pressure, the foods that you're eating. The point is.. there's lots of things that can cause headaches. It can be really difficult for you to find the cause on your own.
